Unified Modeling Language (UML)

Industry-standard modeling language for specifying and documenting data and processes in software systems. The MMC SDK documentation uses UML to document the sequence of interactions and collaborations between MMC and the objects of a snap-in.

user mode

Access mode to a custom console that grants the console's user full to limited access to MMC functionality. Three levels of user mode are possible: full access; limited access, multiple windows; and limited access, single window.
