UsnLogAllocationDelta

Indexing Service is no longer supported as of Windows XP and is unavailable for use as of Windows 8. Instead, use Windows Search for client side search and Microsoft Search Server Express for server side search.
The UsnLogAllocationDelta entry is the size allocated for the next entry to the USN journal.

Remarks
If, during NTFS file system checkpoints, the journal has grown to its maximum allocation, the number of bytes specified by the value of the UsnLogAllocationDelta entry is removed from the front of the file to make room for more entries.
