ICatAdm::DelayedFilterCount property
[Indexing Service is no longer supported as of Windows XP and is unavailable for use as of Windows 8. Instead, use Windows Search for client side search and Microsoft Search Server Express for server side search.]
Contains the current number of documents that were not indexed on the first try, for reasons such as sharing violations; for example, some other process locked the file when Indexing Service was trying to open it for indexing.
This property is read-only.

Property value
The current number of documents that were not indexed.
Remarks
Retrieving this property requires Indexing Service to be running. If it is not running, an error object is created with the Number property set to CI_E_NOT_RUNNING.
