IKsTopologyInfo::get_NodeType method (vidcap.h)
[The feature associated with this page, DirectShow, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer, IMFMediaEngine, and Audio/Video Capture in Media Foundation. Those features have been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The get_NodeType method returns the node type for a given node.
Syntax
HRESULT get_NodeType(
[in] DWORD dwNodeId,
[out] GUID *pNodeType
);
Parameters
[in] dwNodeId
Index of the node. To find the number of nodes, call the IKsTopologyInfo::get_NumNodes method.
[out] pNodeType
Receives a GUID that defines the node type. For a list of node types, see KS Node Types.
Return value
The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.
