Angeben von Timeouteinstellungen (Search Server 2008)

Tipp

Falls nicht anders angegeben, beziehen sich die Informationen in diesem Artikel sowohl auf Microsoft Search Server 2008 als auch auf Microsoft Search Server 2008 Express.

You must be a search services administrator to complete this procedure. For more information, see Hinzufügen oder Entfernen eines Suchdienstadministrators (Search Server 2008).

Farm administrators can specify the amount of time they want the server to wait while connecting to other services, and how long the server will wait for a request for content to be acknowledged. If you add content sources to crawl servers that you know are slow, you can configure the time-out settings as a proactive measure or you can change the time-out settings at any time that you discover a performance related problem.

Use this procedure to specify the time-out settings for the Office SharePoint Server Search service.

Specify timeout settings

  1. In Central Administration, on the Application Management tab, in the Search section, click Manage search service.

  2. On the Search Administration page, under Crawling, click Proxy and timeouts.

  3. On the Manage Farm-Level Search Settings page, in the Timeout Settings section, do the following:

    • In the Connection time (in seconds) box, type the number of seconds you want the server to wait while connecting to other services.

    • In the Request acknowledgement time (in seconds) box, type the number of seconds you want the server to wait for another service to acknowledge a request to connect to that service.

  4. Click OK.
