In addition to the set of system gestures, Microsoft® Windows® XP Tablet PC Edition provides architecture for application gestures. Application gestures are defined as gestures that you can choose to have supported by your application. Application gestures are most likely to be used in applications that have been specifically designed to work with a tablet pen. An existing application may use these gestures; however, it is more difficult to implement, given existing selection models within the application. Only those gestures that are supported in Tablet PC Input Panel are available to legacy applications.
