Currency Code Field, Sales Header Table
Specifies the currency of amounts on the sales lines. Leave the field empty to use the customer’s default currency code.
The customer's default currency code is automatically copied from the Customer table when you fill in the Bill-to Customer No. field. The field is empty if no currency code has been entered on the Customer card. You can change the currency code if the customer wants to use a currency that differs from the customer's default currency.
The currency code and the posting date are used on the sales header to find the relevant exchange rate in the Currency Exchange Rate table. This is the exchange rate that is used to convert amounts on the sales lines to LCY or to convert an additional reporting currency.
Note
For quote documents, the currency code and the work date are used to find the relevant exchange rate in the Currency Exchange Rate table.
To change the currency, choose the field.
