In India, accounting distributions and subledger journals are available for the following types of tax transactions. These tax transactions are levied on non-stocked items:
Service tax
Tax Deducted at Source (TDS)
Accounting distributions and subledger journals are not available for the following other tax types that are levied on items that are marked as stocked:
Sales tax
Value-added tax (VAT)
Excise tax
Customs tax
Tax Collected at Source (TCS)
