Eigenschaftenwert
Einer der MessagePriority-Enumerationswerte, die die Prioritätsebenen für nicht transaktionale Meldungen darstellen. Der Standardwert ist Normal.

Hinweise
Die Priority-Eigenschaft beeinflusst die Behandlung der Meldung in Message Queuing während des Routings und beim Erreichen der Zielwarteschlange. Meldungen höherer Priorität werden beim Routing bevorzugt und gegen Anfang der Zielwarteschlange eingefügt. Meldungen mit derselben Priorität werden entsprechend ihrer Ankunftszeit in der Warteschlange platziert.
Ein Festlegen der Priorität ist nur für nicht transaktionale Meldungen sinnvoll. Für transaktionale Meldungen legt Message Queuing die Priorität automatisch auf Lowest fest, sodass die Priorität dieser Meldungen ignoriert wird.
Hinweis zu Windows Mobile für Pocket PC, Windows Mobile für Smartphone, Windows CE: Auf Geräten, auf denen Windows Mobile 2003 für Pocket PC und Windows CE-Versionen vor Version 5.0 ausgeführt werden, werden bei Meldungen, die von einem Desktopcomputer an einen Pocket PC gesendet werden, irrtümlich die Meldungen mit niedrigerer Priorität zuerst gesendet. Dies wurde in Windows Mobile, Version 5.0, und Windows CE, Version 5.0, korrigiert.
