The IExceptions interface provides a read-only collection of exceptions to a recurring Appointment. You can get this collection by using the IRecurrencePattern::get_Exceptions method. You and add and edit exceptions by using the IRecurrencePattern::GetOccurrence method.

IExceptions methods	Description
IExceptions::Item	Gets an Exception object from the exceptions collection for a recurring Appointment item.
IExceptions::get_Count	Gets the number of items in the exceptions collection.
IExceptions::get__NewEnum	Gets the IEnumVARIANT enumerator interface.
IExceptions::get_Application	Gets the main Outlook Mobile IPOutlookApp object.

Remarks

The exceptions collection pertains to Appointment objects only.
