This method retrieves the type description that corresponds to the specified globally unique identifier (GUID).
Syntax
HRESULT GetTypeInfoOfGuid(
REFGUID guid,
ITypeInfo FAR* FAR* ppTinfo
);
Parameters
- guid
[in] GUID of the type description.
- ppTinfo
[out] Pointer to a pointer to the ITypeInfo interface.
Return Value

No type description was found in the library with the specified GUID. |
E_OUTOFMEMORY |
Out of memory. |

The function could not write to the file. |
TYPE_E_INVDATAREAD |
The function could not read from the file. |
TYPE_E_UNSUPFORMAT |
The type library has an older format. |
TYPE_E_REGISTRYACCESS |
There was an error accessing the system registration database. |
TYPE_E_INVALIDSTATE |
The type library could not be opened. |
