Manage Bing Maps for your organization

Learn how you can manage Bing Maps for your application. When Bing Maps is turned on, people can view a map of a store, warehouse, or other location when creating orders. 

Important

Bing Maps for Enterprise is deprecated and slated for retirement. Customers with an enterprise license can continue to use Bing Maps for Enterprise until June 30th, 2028, and customers on the free and basic license for Bing Maps for Enterprise can continue to use Bing Maps for Enterprise until June 30th, 2025. For more information about the Bing Maps for Enterprise deprecation, see Has Bing Maps for Enterprise been deprecated?. Microsoft plans to add support for Azure Maps to Dynamics 365 Commerce in upcoming releases.

Enable Bing Maps

  1. Go to Commerce shared Parameters > Bing Maps.
  2. Select Enable Bing Maps to turn on Bing Maps functionality.

Enter a Bing Maps key

Go to the Bing Maps licensing page for details about how to obtain a key.

  1. Go to Commerce shared Parameters > Bing Maps.
  2. Enter the license key in the Bing Maps Key field.

Privacy notice

If you enable the Bing Maps feature, address information is automatically sent over the internet to the Bing Maps service to display an online map of the address within this application. If you select Bing Maps within this application, you're redirected to www.bing.com/maps. Your use of Bing Maps is governed by the Bing Maps End User Terms of Use.

Administrators can turn the Bing Maps feature on or off in Commerce headquarters by going to Commerce shared Parameters > Bing Maps. Turning off the Bing Maps feature in headquarters makes the feature unavailable in that instance Dynamics 365 Commerce.
