Known issues for the Copilot for Finance for Excel add-in (preview)
[This article is prerelease documentation and is subject to change.]
This article lists known data reconciliation feature issues with the Microsoft 365 Copilot for Finance for Excel add-in.
General issues
- You cannot stop the process of data reconciliation when the "Creating reconciliation report on a new sheet" message is displayed. Force-closing Excel is the only proper method (currently) to stop an in-process reconciliation. If you use the back button in the header, the process will still be running in the background and may cause some unexpected behavior. The temporary solution is either to wait for the previous reconciliation to be completed before executing the next one or to force-close excel.
- Tables that are used for reconciliation shouldn't contain more than 10,000 rows and 30 columns.
- Navigation buttons such as Next are always active, even before you provide expected input to the operation.
- When the dropdown menu is selected on an editable table keys selection page (for example, mapping keys and monetary columns), it becomes unresponsive and sometimes doesn't work.
- In some cases, the reconciliation summary might not be generated.
- Column names can't contain at signs (@).
- Lengthy table names might be truncated when reconciliation parameters are defined.
