Hide or Show Error List When the Build Finishes with Errors

By default, the Error List will show when there are build errors:
You can change this behavior by going to Tools -> Options -> Projects and Solutions -> General and deselecting the "Always show Error List if build finishes with errors" checkbox:

This is a serious bug, but you can just undock the error list, resize it to minimum and place it in a corner of the active window.Anonymous

Thank you for letting me know. I might have mistakenly unchecked that option and was facing the problem not to see the error window when there were some errors in the code.Anonymous

the 'feature' AP is talking about is that unchecking the "Always show Error List if build finishes with errors" doesn't prevent the "Error List" becoming the active tab when one does a build, which is annoying when one wants to see the output windowAnonymous
