Going Minimalist on the Blog

You may have noticed since the train wreck…er…new blog software changeover that I have kept the layout fairly bare.  This is on purpose.  I’ve decided to streamline the blog even more so that pretty much the only thing you get is tips and the occasional cool post like this one.  Let me know your thoughts:  like it?  hate it?  should i move to Madagascar and train lemurs?

I don't know how the streamlined look your talking about compares to less bare layouts on other msdn blogs, but i will say i do like the new blog design, regardless of the trainwreck it caused you

Thanks Ken :) yeah is was painful for a bit but I like the new software and we were definitely overdue for an upgrage.  The timing was a little off for me as I'm deep into getting the book deal finalized and have to take time away from that to deal with the new changes. Z

Zain, the change to the blog brings it inline with the rest of the msdn site.  I think it looks good and is easy to navigate.

like the design but the blog (in fact, all MSDN blogs) are running quite slow the past days. Not sure if we should blame Community Server or the hardware, but it's quite annoying that your page loading times has increased since the upgrade.
