Sample MP for log events
Here is a MP to quickly test event log and script-based monitoring (well...there's only one monitor which is script-based, so maybe this post should be titled "sample MP for events" only :-))
The MP has monitors like these (and has the tasks to trigger them):
- Event reset monitor
- Manual reset monitor
- Event being reset by another event (same ID / different description)
- Event being timer reset
Note : The taks associated with event log creation require LOGEVENT.EXE (which comes from the Windows Resource Kit IIRC).
