Strictly Business
I've been sifting my way through the criminal underbellies of New York and Miami in EA's Godfather II . You know, strongarming Crime Rings, extorting small businesses to launder my illicit profits in return for my "protection," and tracking down rival family's Made Men to make examples of my criminal fervor by snuffing them out with outlandishly intense executions. Such is the life of a Don: good times and power, steeped in violence.
Also, thanks to a timely conference call, some of the game's developers pointed me toward a little known but powerful feature called Mark for Death. If you find a new crew member you want to recruit into your family, but your Family Tree slots are full, you can put a hit out on one of your own Made Men to make room for the newcomer.
Simply enter the Family Tree menu in the Don's View, select your unfortunate target and press A to "Upgrade." Strange, I know, but once in the Upgrade menu you can select Mark for Death, after which any friendly fire will eliminate that family member permanently. How they meet their demise is up to you. This is an outstanding tool for ensuring that you have precisely the crewmembers you want in your family. Remember folks, it's strictly business.

Man, if only we could "Mark for Death" in the office. You know who I'm talking about, Ryan ;)
