The title update for Left 4 Dead went live today. The fine folks over at Valve have watched how we were playing the game and made a number of tweaks to the title to change up the balance a bit. No more grabbing onto a ladder when flying through the air after a tank punch, for instance. In Versus mode, the HUD now lets you see the status of infected players, and players can now only change teams once per map. There are lots of other tweaks, and you'll find the Hunter, Smoker, and Tank tougher to defeat now. The kind folks over at Shacknews have the full scoop on all the changes, but the best way to find out what's new is to just jump into the game. Just start the game while connected to Xbox LIVE and you'll be prompted to install the update.
