Halo: Reach is Landing on September 14, 2010

More than 2.7 million Halo fans participated in the recent Halo: Reach multiplayer beta on Xbox LIVE, making it the largest console video game beta test on record, and more than triple the size of the Halo 3 beta. (To put it in perspective, Xbox LIVE users put in over 1,826 years of total play time in a two-week period!) The beta’s over, but Halo fans will be able to rejoin the battle against the Covenant when Halo: Reach ships worldwide on September 14, 2010. (September 15 in Japan.)

You can preorder Halo: Reach now, choosing from Standard, Limited, and Legendary editions.  The Legendary edition includes a 10-inch-tall, hand-painted Noble Team statue crafted by McFarlane Toys.

As a special bonus, fans can receive a token to unlock an exclusive in-game Spartan Recon Helmet by picking up a copy of the game on launch day at North American retail stores, and outside of North America by making a pre-order reservation at participating retailers.

 

Once reserved only for the most dedicated and decorated Spartans, the MJOLNIR Mark VI Recon armor variant was developed in the heart of ONI’s Ordnance Testing Facility B5D for high priority reconnaissance missions. The coveted Recon helmet with the Visor/Blast Shield (stowed) variant is available for use in campaign and multiplayer modes. Reserve your copy of Halo: Reach now, and you’ll receive a token to download the exclusive armor variant when you pick up your copy on launch day.

  Finally. What may be the best halo game ver. Everything in the game looks awesome and the beta was well... awesome. And the release date makes me soo pumped up.   mw2 will still be there when reach hits the ground (which will eventually.) dont get me wrong there are faults with mw2 but there are twice as much with reach but im still eager to play it. i used to love the halos but got out of it when *** came out (i just love killing those stupid gullible b*******) and when mw2 came out i played it only for the achievment. ive still played all the halos and will continue to. and i dont get the point off the recon armor whats the difference besides it looks cool?
