New Test Lab Guide: Demonstrate NAP for Remote Access VPN is now available
The Test Lab Guide: Demonstrate NAP for Remote Access VPN (https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/test-lab-guide-demonstrate-nap-for-remote-access-vpn.aspx) is now available.
This community-authored and published Test Lab Guide (TLG) from TechNet Wiki community member Fred Smithers uses the Base Configuration TLG and the Test Lab Guide: Demonstrate Remote Access VPNs to create a working test lab that demonstrates Network Access Protection (NAP) enforcement for remote access VPN connections. You configure DC1 as the NAP health policy server, configure it for NAP enforcement of VPN connections, then configure CLIENT1 as a NAP client. When CLIENT1 makes a VPN connection and is in a non-compliant heath state, it can only reach DC1 (the NAP remediation server). Very cool.
This TLG and the Test Lab Guide: Demonstrate Remote Access VPNs essentially replace the existing Step-by-Step Guide: Demonstrate VPN NAP Enforcement in a Test Lab and form a modular TLG stack. See the following figure:
Thanks again to Fred Smithers!
