New NIC Teaming Documentation for Windows Server Technical Preview
If you're interested in maximizing network performance in Windows Server Technical Preview, as well as creating fault tolerance for servers with two or more network adapters, you can use NIC Teaming.
In Windows Server Technical Preview, NIC Teaming allows you to group between one and thirty-two physical Ethernet network adapters into one or more software-based virtual network adapters. These virtual network adapters provide fast performance and fault tolerance in the event of a network adapter failure.
You can also use NIC Teaming in virtual machines (VMs), and NIC Teaming provides tools to help you with virtual local area networks (VLANs).
For more information, see NIC Teaming in the Windows Server Technical Preview library.
