WCF Server side in .Net core has become essential for the IPC communication. The IPC communication framework support using NetTCP or NetNamedPipe protocol was robust in .Net WCF. Having the same framework in .Net Core will improve our productive, help use build application targeting cross platform. Else we have to go for other alternate framework, e.g REST with RabbitMQ for the IPC framework support. But for supporting REST api's we need to have WebServer. This might not be Ideal for all the solutions. Hence having WCF Framework in .Net core has become highly essential.- Anonymous
