New filter experience on the Marketplace

We have enabled a new filter experience with the aim of simplifying the search and navigation on the Marketplace.

Filters are now part of the results page, providing more prominence to the extensions on the page. It also allows us to add more filter options, like the Price filter, to quickly filter for paid extensions for VSTS.

The top level navigation is also now consistent with the home page, allowing you to quickly switch context and view the relevant search for another product. Please note that this does not work in the subscriptions view as we don’t support search on  the subscriptions page today. Switching to the subscriptions view currently takes you out of the search context.

We’ve also combined the search and category pages to a common view. As a result, you can now get similar information like number of extensions in the category and also access search directly from the category page.

The Marketplace logo on the header will take you to the home page from any point in the site, just like it did before.
