Introducing the Visual Studio ALM Rangers – Kees Verhaar
Why do you want to join the ALM Rangers
I believe that when people share their experiences and knowledge, great things are possible. I see the ALM Rangers as a great example of this. It offers a platform to share what we’ve learned with the community and help people improve their productivity. I’d love to be a part of that.
Short and crisp bio, answering the common 5 index questions
My name is Kees Verhaar. I work as an ALM consultant for Xpirit where I help organizations get their ideas transformed into working code in production. I caught the technology virus when I was a little kid, and I’ve been a technology enthusiast ever since. Whenever I get the chance, I’m exploring new technologies or features, and try to find applications in my professional or home environment. In my free time I love to go sailing. During winters, I spend a lot of time with my tools, doing home improvement jobs and building custom furniture.

What makes you “tick”?
Making complex things simple. Exploring new technology. Helping people and teams to get their ideas into action. Sharing knowledge. Learning from others.
Where do you live?
My wife and I live in Maarssen, a small town near Utrecht in The Netherlands. We just bought a property in Amersfoort, where we’ll move once construction is completed.
This post is part of an ongoing series of Rangers introductions. SeeRanger Index (Who is Who?)for more details.
