Introducing the Visual Studio ALM Rangers – David Kalmin
I am an Application Development Manager for Premier Support for Developers at Microsoft and love every minute of it. I get to work with customers to proactively promote ALM and DevOps utilizing tools like TFS/VSTS. On a personal level I am a father, husband, dog owner, entrepreneur, softball player, ping pong player, cancer survivor, coder and occasional runner.
What makes you “tick”?
Professionally what makes me tick is the moment a customer realizes the impact of implementing proper ALM and DevOps is going to have on their organization. Personally what makes me tick is competition (friendly of course) no matter if it is hackathons, ping pong or softball.
Where do I live?
I live in Los Angeles California with my wife, daughter and 2 dogs.
What is the best Rangers solution you worked with and why?
Over the years, I have worked with many Rangers solutions. The solution I have used the most has been the guidance of the different source control systems including TFVC and more recently Git. I can’t wait to start contributing!
This post is part of an ongoing series of Rangers introductions. SeeRanger Index (Who is Who?)for more details.
