The credentials supplied to the package were not recognized (SCVMM 2012 SP1)
I finally got around to setting up SCVMM 2012 SP1 CTP2 in my test lab today. One of the first things I tried to do, after getting everything setup, was to do a shared-nothing live migration. However this failed with the following error message:
After a bit of investigation I discovered that this was because I had not configured “Run As” accounts for my hosts.
What I needed to do was:
- Find the source host (zeta in this case) in SCVMM
- Open Properties
- Go to the Host Access page
- Configure a Run As account:
Once I had done this I was able to migrate virtual machines without any problems.
Cheers,
Ben

Running VMM 2012 SP1 and can't change the run as account option in clustered hosts. Any ideas why? I can change it in stand alone clusters. Is removing and reading all clusters the only option to change the run as account in clustered hosts? I have like 20 of them, so... Thanks JFAnonymous
