Steps to generate the property in your Cube
Ensure, that your properties are loaded with the dimension into your SSAS solution Data source view (DSV).
Open your dimension in your SSAS solution - Tab "Dimension Structure"
Drag & drop the new property to your list of Attributes
Right click the new Attribute and select Properties
Change the Property "AttributeHierarchyEnabled" to FALSE (this leads to not displaying the attribute within you dimension selection in Client tools, e.g. Pivot Field list in Excel or Query Designer in SSRS)
Navigate to the TAB "Attribute Relationships"
Mark the automatically generated Relationship of your new Property - and delete it
Now, in the upper window drag & drop your Attribute (where your property should belong to) to your new property.A new relationship will be displayed.
Save your solution, deploy and rebuild the SSAS DB
Test the Property / Attribute description in Excel
Open your Excel
Connect to your Cube and create a new Pivot Table
Check the dimension property to be displayed in Rows or Columns
Mouse over your Dimension members to display the new information.
