New Microsoft Certified Architects (MCA) for SharePoint Announced
A new architect certification program, Microsoft Certified Architects (MCA) for SharePoint, was announced by Jeff Teper, Corporate Vice President Office Business Platform, at the SharePoint Conference.
He said those who become certified architects “will have a level of depth and training and certification that is unmatched on complex SharePoint enterprise deployments and application development.”

He said, “It really will be a way for many of you to consider becoming certified architects, but even if you're just looking to hire an individual or expertise, a credential that you can look for that shows the greatest level of depth and expertise in the SharePoint community.”
The beta period for the MCA SharePoint exam will end sometime during the duration of the SharePoint Conference. Board exams are scheduled for Feb. 6, 2012.

- Microsoft Certified Architect: Microsoft SQL Server 2008
- Microsoft Certified Architect: Windows Server 2008 R2: Directory
