Customising the right-click options in Office 2003
Here's a top tip I learned recently from a colleague. You can customise the right-click menu in Office 2003 applications so the options you use most regularly are close at hand. Here's how:
- In the application of your choice (Word, Excel...) go to the View menu, Toolbars, Customise
- Under the Toolbars tab, select the Shortcut menu
- A mini toolbar will appear showing the available context menus
- Now click on the Command tab back in the customise window and locate the command you wish to add to the right click menu
- Drag and drop the command you want to add into the appropriate context menu
I used this to add Paste Special and Insert Comments to my right-click menu. What will you add?
