Meet the Winners!

Small businesses with big ambitions struggle to reach their full potential when they don’t have the right technology in place. That is why we recently launched a competition to help UK small businesses make the most of modern technology. Microsoft’s ‘Small Business Techover’ competition offered small businesses the chance to win a technology makeover worth a whopping £10,000 by creating a 6 second video to showcase their business. 

We had lots of incredible businesses enter with wonderful creative ideas, including The Proposers, Pooch and Mutt, GNot, Numberfit, Skyline Marketing, Office Works UK, Swipii and UK Fostering.

Our panel of business experts then found two winners to receive a tech assessment and IT makeover. Now it’s time to meet the winners.

Pooch and Mutt

Pooch & Mutt is a healthy and ethical pet food company based in London.  It had taken an ad-hoc approach to its IT strategy, but now their growing quickly and needed a better plan.

As part of its Small Business Techover prize, Pooch & Mutt was awarded Microsoft Lumia phones and Surface Pro 3 devices. UK Fostering

UK Fostering is an independent fostering agency operating in the South East of England, Midlands and North West England. It needed to modernise its technology so it could spend more time with carers and children.

UK Fostering was given Surface Pro 3 devices to help them go paperless and spend less time typing up notes.
