Joel Smith has more than four years of experience as an operations consultant with Microsoft Services. Prior to that, Joel worked in the financial services sector with a primary focus on implementing Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) service management processes at his bank. During the implementation process, Joel worked with the Microsoft Services team using MOF fundamentals to improve the service and reliability of one of the primary financial applications for the bank. Joel worked together with Microsoft Services as an early adopter of the Service Level Management (SLM) scorecard for Microsoft Exchange. Joel holds his ITIL Service Managers certification.
