The eagle has landed
and is wearing a green Ask the Experts polo shirt, at the Barcelona conference center. Things to report from TechEd IT Forum include:
- Microsoft Learning has a booth in the very middle of the Microsoft Ask the Experts area, right next to the jolly bunch that is the TechNet team
- Excellent people involved include: a handful of knowledgeable and fun MCTs; Mike Honig, new MCT program manager; Ken Rosen, one-time MCT program manager; Theresia from our marketing team; Dave Wurster who knows everything about training resources for Server 2008; Greg and team from Microsoft Press; and some other people, woot
- YT was there this morning, and will be back Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, plus Friday morning when things are wrapping up
- From noon to 3pm every day we're giving these black t-shirts that say GEEK (what's not to love?) to MCPs. You have to show your wallet card or your online transcript at the booth to get one. The only other way to get your t-shirt is by demonstrating both the Ultra-secret MCP Handshake and the World-famous MCP Pop-Lock-and-Drop It dance move.
Come and say hello sometime this week. And bring some of those good spanish almond-type things they've got sitting around in little packets at the conference center.

I already have a "geek" shirt - it's very cool. It's a lot better than those "Windows 2000 - I saw it first" shirts that Microsoft gave out for about three years. I would recommend that all in the area visit Trika and get that shirt. I plan on wearing mine at my company's "wear a wacky shirt" day on Wednesday. Now, if I only had a certified case "Basket": or Certified since 1857 cap to go with it. (I got in a discussion with someone who called the TRS-80 a "trash-80", and explained to him that it was a miracle that we were able to put a whole operating system into 4K of RAM, so either cap will work for me.) Didn't you promise up to 20 caps for those whose suggestions you used?Anonymous
