Publishinghouse Five

Dear budding IT-Vonnegut,

last call to attend the "becoming a technical author" Live Meeting today. The morning session was good. Three people I really like (true story!) spoke about why and how you can get involved with Microsoft Press and MSDN (and other publishers) to start or further a writing career. Presenters were Ken and Linda, the Laurel and Hardy of Microsoft Press, and Howard Dierking of MSDN Magazine (no stranger to charming your socks off).

Here is the link, if you're interested. Register for 5:00 PM PST --( What time is this in my region? ).

And so it goes.

I must say, Howard had quite a spiffy photo for his intro slide. I can tell someone put some effort into making it look good, so my compliments to whoever that may be. :-) (Some of the other photos are unique in their own special ways. ;-) )
