Excuse-me, I´ve just joined and I´m not listening.
This comment was just typed in to the Live Meeting question and answer panel (we're in the middle of our 70-536 exam prep session with Susan Ibach): "Excuse-me, I´ve just joined and I´m not listening."
I believe the intent was "...and I can't hear anything," but really it's a great statement as written, applicable to most work meetings, family gatherings, political debates, and certainly all MSFT distribution list discussions. Excuse me, I've just joined. And I'm not listening. This is making me laugh out loud. Luckily, I'm very professional, so I've muted my phone. Susan accidentally called me Treeker earlier in the call, and that was enjoyable, too.
Oh, goodness.
Is anything funnier than a 536 exam cram?

PS I'll post the link to this session and the slides tomorrow sometime, I'm on my way back to the MSL booth mini-desk at the convention center for now. In related news, Susan is excellent.

Hi "Treeker" Thanks for the enjoyable 70-536 cram session. Your slides mention MeasureUp and SelfTestSoftware as the preferred partners for practice tests. But we have always been using Transcender at our company. Could you tell me if there is any specific benefit of using MeasureUp/SelfTest over Transcender?Anonymous

Idem. I joined by web meeting but ".. I was not listening (to)". "Your sistem is not supported" is the message on my W2003.Oh nooo. It was the first webcast. A good start, I thought. Then I looked for LM2007, downloaded, after installed it I was able to follow the remain. Maybe some ActiveX controls do not work properly on server systems.Anonymous

Coolpran, I believe Transcender and Selftest are actually the same company (Kaplan) and that the practice test questions are the same for either product. MeasureUp comes with the MSPress book for 70-536 but Im not sure if these are questions designed just for MSPress or the same as what you would get when you buy a MeasureUp test for 536. Please correct me if Im wrong anyone. HTH. DougAnonymous

@Coolpran & Doug Rees One of the benefits of being a Gold Partner is that you can claim certain practice exams free on MeasureUp To do this do the following Browse to the following link http://www.measureup.com/microsoftpartnerskillsplus/ (If the page displays a different notice, just click on the link again to see the correct page) Enter your partner ID (you can get this from your Partner site and also your information centre on the Partner site) Select the Microsoft Certification Program(MCP) Enter the number of vouchers you require. 1 is usually sufficient Enter the email address (preferably your company one) Click I Agree Click Submit It will then generate a voucher number which you can redeem by clicking on the redeem now in the Practice Texst Offer Follow the on screen instructions to log into MeasureUp Please note that not all exams are available!!!!Anonymous

Coolpran: the only two companies MIcrosoft works with to develop and approve test prep practice tests are MeasureUp and SelfTest... so that's the benefit, the fact that you know Micorsoft endorses their materials. There are many other good providers, but we can't recommend them one way or another (sounds stupid, but we really can't). So you can use one of the two we recommend, or you can ask others in the certified community what they think of other options. YOu'll probably get some good feedback about materials people like or hate or have reputations for being "dumps".
