Which resource center design do you prefer?

For SharePoint Server 2007, we created various resource centers on TechNet to make it easier for you to find the content you need quickly and easily. For SharePoint Server 2010, we're revamping our resource centers. We've narrowed it down to three different designs and would like to know what you think.

Which of these designs do you like best, and why? Let us know in the comments. Who knows -- maybe one day you can say, "The look and feel of the new SharePoint Server 2010 resource centers on TechNet? Yeah, that was MY idea."  :)

    #1, with a link to a subpage that would have the "Get Ready to Deploy" content from #3.

    I like design 3 the best.  If I had my complete choice I'd have the body content look of design 1 with the right side area of design 3.  There's my $0.02.  :)

    #1, would like to see the addition of a "most recently added content" section, and a link for each section to, "Get More.....".  Nice job!

    I like design 3 the best because of the quick access to several links.  It would be nice if the three options were of the same page though so that a true apples-to-apples comparison could be made.

    I like #1 the best.  It has media content plus useful links in a column view so you see the most useful information above the scroll.   Usually when I hit Technet it's because I need answers in a hurry, so normally I'd pick #3 because it's a no-frills, here's-the-info format.   But I like the idea of a rotating pick of short videos so that if I am not in a panic to find an answer I can take the time to learn something new.

    #3. I like the center layout and having the links down the right side. Although, I agree with dw who wants the content from #1 and the right side from #3.

    I think it depends a bit on the background of the viewer. Given I've had little chance to do much with SharePoint 2010 yet I prefer #1 but I think if I were looking at the same pages based on SharePoint 2007 I'd probably go for #2 or #3. In this case I'll throw my vote in for #1 :-)

    I like #1 because of the strong "get started" sign post. The content seems more organized and deliberate with this design.

    I like design #3 best. As I cannot watch video content at the office, it's a waste of space on the page. A lot of quick links as in design #3 is much more useful overall.
