Update on New Work

Lately I've been working on a new walkthrough document for the AD RMS Protectors for Office files (these help you write applications that provide RMS protection for Microsoft Office files) that we posted to the MSDN Code Gallery several weeks ago. It is meant to help developers ramp up with the protectors. It should be available by the end of the month.

Additionally, I had the chance to sit in on the recent Digital ID World conference in Anaheim, California. The conference was devoted to discussion of identity solutions and issues. I had a chance to see Microsoft's marketing booth and listen to Craig Wittenberg's keynote lecture. The conference provided me an opportunity to see how AD RMS and other identity and access products, such as ILM, are positioned and sold.
