Free Event On Visual C++ "Orcas" In Belgium - May 9 at 18:30
Ronald Laeremans, Group Program Manager for Visual C++, will host a free MSDN Evening on Visual C++ "Orcas" in Mechelen (Belgium) on 9 May. I'm very happy that Ronald is willing to give this presentation as not many people know as much about Visual C++ "Orcas" as he does.
MSDN Evening: Visual C++ "Orcas" and Microsoft C++ Strategy Update
Come and see what the "Orcas" release of Visual Studio has in store for C++ developers. The session will provide a tour through the top Windows Vista features for applications such as the new UI, Search and Organize, User Account Control and many deep reliability and performance enhancements. It will touch on the enhanced Visual C++ support for integrating native code and .NET code. Finally, it will provide a look into the role of C++ and native code on the Microsoft platform going forward and the exciting plans for the Visual C++ product beyond the "Orcas" release. The session will be hosted by Ronald Laeremans, Group Program Manager for Visual C++ at the Microsoft headquarters in the USA.
