programatically editing mp3 tags

Ah, it's been to long since a real good post.  hehehe.  Lately, I've been pretty busy working so I haven't had a lot of time to push forward on my own research, but I made some time last night.

Something I wanna try and figure out is how to programatically edit the information tag that's part of every .mp3 file.

Anyone have a good suggestion on where to start looking for information on how to do this?
