Tip of the Day: Memory Demand in Windows 10

Today’s Tip…

A number of releases ago, Microsoft introduced the concept of “Memory Demand”.  This was an assessment of how much memory that a VM required.  Based on this number, Dynamic Memory would assign available memory to the VMs.

Users have been requesting that this Memory Demand be visible so they can better plan their environments.  Starting with the Hyper-V in Windows 10, this is exactly what we are delivering.

While this was available in the past for Dynamic Memory, in Windows 10 it is also visible when using the static memory model.
