(Cloud) Tip of the Day: Azure RemoteApp Create a Cloud Collection
Today’s (Cloud) Tip…
If you do not require applications to talk to backend servers the easiest way to get started with Azure RemoteApp is by creating a stand-alone Cloud collection.
This can be done in the RemoteApp workspace in the Azure Management Portal.
Simply click New --> APP SERVICES --> REMOTEAPP --> QUICK CREATE
Give the collection a name, specify the region to deploy in, choose your plan, pick your template image, and then click the check mark by CREATE REMOTEAPP COLLECTION.
Once the collection is provisioned, you can add users sourced from your Azure Active Directory, your directory sync'd on-premises Active Directory, or users with a valid Microsoft Account.
