(Cloud) Tip of the Day: Azure AD Audit reports

This next tip is slightly off topic from Directory Integration to finish off the week. However, I am glad to say there is some improved integration between Office 365 and Azure Active Directory. There is now a link from the Office 365 admin center Reports page to the Azure Management Portal.

The only caveat is you must have an Azure subscription associated with your organizational account (in the future, organizational account is being rebranded to work or school account.)

To access the Azure AD reports from the Office 365 admin center, do this…

  1. Sign in to the Office 365 admin center @ https://portal.office.com
  2. Go to Reports
  3. Then, under auditing, click Azure AD reports (paid Office 365 subscription required)

With that said, we have released four new reports in preview available in the Azure Management Portal.

  • Audit
  • Password reset activity
  • Password reset registration activity
  • Group activity
