Filming our recent episode

Friday afternoon we filmed the next episode of The .NET Show. This one is on WinFS, and I think we covered a lot of great information. In our first segement we had Quentin Clark and Anil Nori who provided us with a spirited and informative discussion about a variety of aspects of WinFS that will be important for developers to understand. And then Mike Deem walked us through some demos he prepared for showing how the programming model for WinFS works.

I also had my digital camera with me, and was taking a lot of photo's during this shoot. I thought you all might be interested in seeing some of these pictures so you can get a little “behind the scenes” glimpse of what we do. So I created a shared album up on Shutterfly so you can see these pictures. You can access it here:

Actually, you're not "filming" anything. Film is dead. You're shooting video. :)

I started my career in broadcast, and despite the bling associated with being a .NET code monkey, I miss it. Maybe I should try to get back in and work for Microsoft, because clearly they have cool toys to play with.

I'm looking forward to this one; the Indigo episode was great and WinFS is even more exciting!

Behind the scenes shots are nice, maybe it will become a regular thing? :)

Hey guys, great work as always. And all this Longhorn stuff is great. But it's so far away. Any chance of returning back to topics that are of use to us today? I'm not saying it's not good to talk about future technologies, because it certainly is. But lately that's all the .NET show has been focused on and it has little value to me in the real world for a few years.

    Olá a todos,

Meu nome é Alessandro e sou do Brasil...

Acho que seria legal se um dos "episódios" do .NET Show fossem gravados aqui no Brasil... ;-)

    Um abraço a todos!
