Bag of Chips: What should I do with my butler?

This year the Swedish MS Office won the "Best place to work" award from the Great Place to Work institute for the second year in a row. 

I know, I know, we are the borg and all that, but heck, it is a really good place to work... anyways... what does this have to do with butlers?  Well, this company James decided to give all the MS employees two hours of butler service and I just can't figure out what to do with mine so I figured maybe you guys have some good ideas:)

So far I have discarded

  • house cleaning, since I know that based on how my house looks, two hours won't even make a dent:) 
  • racking for my team in the IT and Finance Billiards league finals... this fell through because my team didn't make it to the finals:(
  • going to see the Spiderman movie for me since it's apparently a movie that everybody "just has to see!!!" but I can't be bothered.  That fell through because the movie is over two hours
  • filling in for me at the next review meeting at work... I'm not sure how well that would go over with my manager

and now I am out of ideas, so i'll leave it up to you...

    Seeing as you're in Sweden you should go and see the Esbjorn Svensson Trio live... Or maybe Koop. I dream of the day when I can play the piano like Mr.Svensson.

    I see you took my advice about blogging seriously :-) OK, so what to do with a butler? Hmm, what about shopping? At the very least he can carry the bags. You should make in impression with the sellers, too, so you could put on a stylish dress and get some special treatment normally reserved for the rich people, like taking a porsche out for a test-drive, let you show some really nice jewelry and the like.     Congrats on the butler... Being the food-centric person I am, the first idea that came to mind was: have him cook for you!

    Hi Tess, I can't believe you have no ideas what to do with a butler! How do you manage to do your work and write those tons of great posts? There must be something that's not getting the attention it should get. What about your coffee mug? If I look at mine, I knew what I asked my butler first... Cheers, Volker

    Hey Tess, Rock on for the butler!  House work is always nice, though I love the idea of cooking.  My coworker suggested having him run erands for you.  Another idea would be to have him do some really tedious or repetative part of your job for you.  Regardless the possibilities are endless!  Let us know how it turns out. -Jon
