Silverlight 3 and Expression Blend 3 Betas Now Available

Today at MIX09 in Las Vegas, we rolled out the beta of Silverlight 3, a preview of the most powerful platform for creating and delivering rich Internet applications (RIAs) and media experiences on the Web. This new version contains more than 50 new features, including support for running Silverlight applications out of the browser, dramatic video quality and performance improvements, and features that radically improve developer productivity.

Also available is the preview version of Expression Blend 3, the “designer/developer workflow tool” for building interfaces for Silverlight and WPF projects. As with Silverlight 3, Expression Blend 3 adds a lot of new features like for instance Photoshop and Illustrator file import.
