Short update on Windows 7
At the end of July, Microsoft announced that the European Commission welcomed their proposal to provide Windows 7 users a “consumer ballot screen” to select the Web browser of their choice to surf the Internet. This means no Windows 7 E version, but the W7 complete version, and more important that an upgrade path from Windows Vista is now possible.
As a developer you may also be interested in the Windows 7 Training Kit for Developers and you probably also want to make sure that your applications are W7 compatible. Regarding this last point, a new version of the Logo Toolkit is now available for download.
