Announcing Best of Swiss Silverlight Award
Best of Swiss Silverlight is a Swiss award for Internet projects developed on the basis of Microsoft Silverlight. Best of Swiss Silverlight is a collaboration between the Best of Swiss Web Association, in conjunction with simsa and the magazine Netzwoche, and Microsoft Switzerland. The awards are presented annually at “Shape – The Web Conference ” . This year Shape will be organized on 27th October 2009 in Swissôtel Zürich-Oerlikon.
The purpose of the competition is to recognize companies that have developed outstanding web concepts based on Silverlight. The jury will judge entries on criteria such as technology, creativity, ease of use, value added and quality.
Service providers and web project clients are eligible to participate in Best of Swiss Silverlight, provided that their project has been launched within the last twelve months or is about to go online or the bulk of the project work has taken place during this period and that the project is based on Silverlight technology. Natural persons and legal entities residing or located in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein are eligible to participate. Participation is free of charge.
The competition begins this year on 25th August 2009. The registration time ends on 5th October 2009.
