Integrate Reporting Services into SharePoint 2016
UPDATE: SQL Server 2016 is now available.
With the recent release of SharePoint Server 2016 Beta 2, we're happy to announce that SQL Server 2016 CTP 3.1 enables you to integrate SQL Server business intelligence and reporting into SharePoint 2016 and we've published a whitepaper to help you get up and running.
SharePoint-integrated mode for SharePoint 2013 and 2016
With SQL Server 2016 as with previous releases, you can choose to deploy Reporting Services in one of two modes: Native mode, a standalone deployment that doesn't require SharePoint; and SharePoint-integrated mode, which integrates deeply into SharePoint. You'll find several of the new Reporting Services features - including Treemaps and Sunburst charts, the new HTML renderer, plugin-free printing, and export to PowerPoint - in SharePoint-integrated mode as well.
With CTP 3.1, SharePoint-integrated mode now supports both SharePoint 2013 and 2016 (Beta 2) .

SharePoint 2016 introduces some changes to SharePoint's architecture and integration with other services, most notably Excel Online, which supersedes Excel Services. You'll want to understand this architecture and how to deploy and integrate the various servers and components, particularly if you're interested in deploying other BI features such as PowerPivot and Power View, which work with Excel Online.
Check out our whitepaper, Deploying SQL Server 2016 PowerPivot and Power View in SharePoint 2016. After a primer on the architecture, it'll guide you through the process of deploying a SharePoint 2016 environment including Excel Online, PowerPivot (backed by Analysis Services), and Power View (backed by Reporting Services).
More to come
Meanwhile, we're hard at work on the exciting enhancements we unveiled at PASS Summit. We've heard from many of you that you're eager to get your hands on a preview version, so stay tuned to this blog for an upcoming update on that front.

there are subtle hints in the whitepaper that PowerView is tied to SSRS (in SharePoint Integrated mode anyway). Does that mean we'll be able to create Power View reports using BIDS/VS as the IDE? Are there plans for this support in the GA build of SQL 2016 or next version of VS?Anonymous

@Muqadder, Power View is built on the Reporting Services server platform (in SharePoint-integrated mode), but there are different report design tools for different report types. Our Visual Studio-integrated report design tool remains focused on development of Reporting Services paginated reports (*.rdl reports). Power BI Desktop represents the evolution of Power View and is our tool for exploring and visualizing data and creating interactive reports. Per our roadmap, you'll be able to publish Power BI Desktop reports to Reporting Services sometime after SQL Server 2016 GA.
