So this title says it's for 2012 SP2, but the KB article specifically states SP1. Does this apply to SP2 or was this fixed with SP2?

Does the issue also affect SQL Server 2014 RTM or 2014 RTM CU1?

Never mind. SQL Server 2014 RTM CU2 came out today with a fix for this issue, so apparently it did affect 2014 as well (at least 2014 RTM CU1).

Ajay, given the severity of this Bug, can we expect it to be available on the catalog.microsoft.com  for Windows Update and SCCM automatic install on our enterprise?
