Fix for index corruption issue now available for SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 2
Fix for issue described in KB https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2969896 is now available for download for SP2 via the hotfix download link in the KB article.

thanx but the kb article say: Applies to Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 1, when used with: Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Enterprise Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Developer Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Express Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Standard Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Web There is no word about SP2Anonymous

So this title says it's for 2012 SP2, but the KB article specifically states SP1. Does this apply to SP2 or was this fixed with SP2?Anonymous

Never mind. SQL Server 2014 RTM CU2 came out today with a fix for this issue, so apparently it did affect 2014 as well (at least 2014 RTM CU1).Anonymous

@Kevin yes it affects both SQL Server 2012 and SQL Server 2014. the fix for each version are: 2012 - has 2 options -------- CU10 + KB2969896 -> Bulld 3437 -------- or SP2 + KB2969896 -> Build 5522 2014 - CU2 -> Build 2370Anonymous
