Cumulative Update #1 for SQL Server 2014 RTM

Dear Customers,

The 1st cumulative update release for SQL Server 2014 RTM is now available for download at the Microsoft Support site. Cumulative Update 1 includes all hotfixes which were released in SQL Server 2012 SP1 CU 6, 7, 8, and 9.

NOTE: We have discovered an issue that affects the packaging of CU1 that is causing a failure during slipstream installation. Therefore, we have removed CU1 packages from the hotfix download server. Please see CU#1 KB Article: https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2931693 for more information.

    Get the following when trying to download: The KB article has no public hotfixes.

    Clicking on the Hotfix Download Available shows the following message. "The KB article has no public hotfixes. Please contact support if you need immediate assistance."

    An issue that affected Cumulative Update 1 for Microsoft SQL Server 2014 had previously caused us to remove the update from the download server. We have now resolved the issue, and the update is again available for download. support.microsoft.com/.../2931693
