Sound Financial Information with Temenos and SQL Server 2008
As a Vancouver Canada born and educated boy, I was delighted to hear that it’s North Shore Credit Union (NSCU) went with Temenos T24 using SQL Server 2008. This decision is typical of Canadian financial institutions passion for efficiency and making sound decisions. The World Economic Form “ranked Canada's banking system as the soundest in the world.”[Time]. The largest Canadian credit union, Vancity, recently announced that it is following NCSU in adopting Temenos and SQL Server 2008.
“Many of the 400+ credit unions in this [Canadian retail banking] market run their operations on Microsoft SQL Server; the openness and platform independence of T24 offers full alignment to this technology, enabling these institutions to harness the cost and operational efficiencies of both products.” Andreas Andreades
